BACKGROUND: Socrates was against Writing. Plato required Geometry to enter his Academy. Leonardo DaVinci tells us why:

“1. There are three types of people: those who see, those who can be taught to see, those who do not see.

2. You who think to reveal the figure of man in words, banish the idea. The more minute your description, the more you confuse the reader, and the more you lead him away from the knowledge of the thing described.”

STARTUNING: Pythagoras was a Musician. So was Leonardo, 2000 years later. They were Rational Thinkers. But we were taught Irrational Thinking, now known as Decimals, discovered by Hippasus, a student of Pythagoras. Irrational Numbers are just a Base Ten system. They have not been translated into Rational whole-number systems. Instead, Rational systems have been translated into Decimals. Irrational Thinking has also pervaded the teaching of Languages, 7000 of them, using visual symbols for sounds, which were once Sung. These were considered Magic Spells and are still referred to as Spelling. But Music is not Magic, it’s Science, based on the same Mathematical Ratios as Geometry, Time and Space, meticulously created by human voices and instruments.
